Our Story

Sure, you can find “pickles” such as chutney on every local market, but freshly picked veg preserved in a pickling vinegar are hard to find. Supermarkets usually only offer the classic pickled onions, gherkins and beetroot.

SO WE THOUGHT WE’D SHAKE THINGS UP A BIT!

But why the Crooked Pickle? Well, we’re based in the shadow of Chesterfield’s famous Crooked Spire church and because all our veg is hand-cut and not always straight, we thought there was really no
better name!
