Alison's Story
Alison is also influenced by the impact of humanity on the area and her images often draw on industrial and agricultural features.
Her fine art works are hand stitched, predominantly using locally sourced, hand dyed wool. She “paints with thread and yarn”.
An award-winning artist, Alison has been featured on Instagram by Tate Britain. She is a member of Peak District Artisans and The Society for Embroidered Work.
